Rexona sweet D&D [milano 2008]
........................................................
Was designed for the D&D award of design. Rexona proposed to design a new deodorant for women
that are in movement the whole day, but the task was to do a deodorant that would be almost unnoticed,
since many times women are shy of taking out their deodorant in public spaces.
Concept: Litchi = Deodorant
The proposal for the new "Rexona" product is to create a deodorant based on the Litchi; a tropical fruit
native from south China which has a rough texture from the outer part that can be easily removed and
the interior part is formed of a sweet layer with a brown seed in the center.
The costumer will be able to open the product by twisting the upper part of the litchi clock-wise, exposing
more than half of the deodorant. The delicacy of the shape will make it almost impossible to notice it use
in public spaces. Each product will last approximately from 6 to 9 uses or 2 to 3 days.
